About Rose
Rose has been an educator for over 20 years, working in vocational and university environments. With more time, Rose has moved her focus to her love of the arts and hopes to help others embark on their own journey in the creative space. Rose is mostly a self-taught artist and a qualified Art Therapist. She likes to paint realism with seascapes, landscapes, and portraits (pets and people her favourites!).
More recently, Rose has created abstract, impressionism, pastel, and pencil artworks; many of which are now hanging in new homes in Tasmania, Queensland, and Victoria. Her art has also been accepted in art exhibitions and published in art magazines.
Rose’s art was featured as a finalist for an online portrait competition https://www.maldonartistnetwork.org.au/maldon-portrait-prize-2022-painting-gallery (see #43) and was a finalist in the 2025 John Villiers Outback Art Prize https://www.facebook.com/waltzingmatildacentre with her painting 8 minutes from wet to dry.
With Rose’s background and experiences with numerous styles and media, she is able to provide advice and guidance without altering a person’s own creativity. Rose is also a registered NDIS support provider and can help you immerse yourself in the joy, and therapeutic effects, of art, music, writing, and personal development.
