Bathurst Harbour

This piece was painted from a photograph taken by my nephew who is a pilot and often takes tourists to Bathurst Harbour. On one trip the harbour was almost completely calm and this was the resulting photograph. I wanted to replicate the mood, the peace, and the beautiful Tasmanian environment. The medium is oil on canvas and finished with a semi-gloss varnish.
